Peace Run is a world wide humanitarian event that promotes friendship and international comprehension.
Peace Run is done on all continents, in more than 140 nations around the world. It’s a relay race where any person can participate carrying the torch, a symbol of peace.
In Portugal, the race is organized by Associação Mensagens Positivas and by an international voluntary network who carry the torch. In every country, the organization visits schools, community groups, associations and local councils in order for the race to reach every community.
This event is not about money or defend a cause, but only to pass a global testimony, that transcends political, cultural and economic boundaries.
